Introduction  Chail is a hill station in solan district of himachal pradesh,India.It is 45 killometers from solan city and 44 killometers  from shimla.It is known for its salubrious beauty and virgin forests.The chail palace is well known for its architecture.At about half an hour drive from the chail bazzar,Kali Mata ka Tibba is located on a hill top,the highest in chail.You will get the most beautiful view of the mountain ranges and the hills while standing at the Temple Terrace.

History In 1891,Maharaja Rajendera of Patiala incurred the rage of lord kitchener.It led to the restriction of his entry into the Indian summer capital ,shimla .This incensed the maharaja and he vowed to build a new summer retreat for himself.So he rebuilt the palace (Chail) as per his requirements .After accession to the Indian union,Maharaja of Patiala donated most of his buildings to chail Military and the Government of india.
