Package Overview

1. The name "Spiti" means "The middle land", i.e. the land between Tibet and India.

2. The road to Spiti Valley remains open all round the year through Shimla – Kinnaur while the road from Manali side closes in winter as soon as Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass close.

3. Late May to June is the best season to visit Spiti Valley as the temperature rises above the 0 degree celsius which makes traveling possible in this area. The temperature in Spiti Valley in June ranges between 0 and 15 degree celsius which makes it perfect for sightseeing and outdoor activities.

Itinerary

Day 1Delhij to shimla

 Meet your travel Guide and pick up from Delhi in the morning, heading towards Shimla.  Enjoy the scenic drive through the hills and valleys of Himachal Pradesh. Arrive in Shimla by late morning or early afternoon.  Check into your hotel or accommodation in Shimla.  In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner either at your hotel or at a nearby restaurant.  After dinner, unwind and rest at your accommodation.

Day 2Shimla to chitkul/Sangla

 Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel in Shimla.  Check out from your accommodation and meet your driver for the journey to Chitkul.  Explore Chitkul village, known for its scenic beauty and traditional architecture.  Visit the ancient Chitkul Temple and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas.  After sightseeing in Chitkul, continue your journey to Sangla.  Enjoy a delicious dinner at your accommodation or a local restaurant.

Day 3Chitkul to kalpa

 Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Chitkul and check out.  Begin your scenic journey towards Kalpa, a picturesque town located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.  En route, admire the stunning landscapes, winding mountain roads, and panoramic views of the Himalayas.  Pass by charming villages, apple orchards, and terraced fields as you descend towards lower altitudes.  Arrive in Kalpa, known for its apple orchards, ancient temples, and majestic views of the Kinner Kailash range.  Check into your accommodation in Kalpa and unwind for a while.  In the evening, you can explore the local market in Kalpa, visit the Kalpa Monastery, or enjoy a leisurely walk around the town.  Witness the mesmerizing sunset over the snow-capped peaks, offering a spectacular view.  Dinner will be served at your hotel, featuring delicious Himachali cuisine.  Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 4Kalpa to Tabo via nako

 After breakfast in Kalpa, check out from your accommodation and begin your journey towards Nako.  The drive from Sangla to Nako is approximately 90 kilometres and takes about 3-4 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic.  Enjoy the scenic drive through the picturesque landscapes of Kinnaur, passing through quaint villages and lush greenery.  Nako is a beautiful village located at an altitude of over 3600 meters.  After that travel from Nako to Tabo, home to the ancient Tabo Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Explore Tabo Monastery's exquisite murals, statues, and prayer halls.  Admire the artistic and spiritual heritage of this historic monastery.  Check into your hotel in Tabo and savour dinner.  Overnight stay in Tabo.

Day 5Tabo to Kaza

 Start your day with breakfast at your hotel in Tabo.  Check out from the hotel and begin your journey towards Kaza.  En route, enjoy the scenic drive through the Spiti Valley, marvelling at the rugged landscapes and barren mountains.  Pass by quaint villages and ancient monasteries that dot the route.  Enjoy dinner at your accommodation, savouring local Himachali cuisine.  Overnight stay in Kaza

Day 6Kaza Local Sightseeings

 Begin your day with breakfast at your accommodation in Kaza.  Check out from the hotel and start your journey towards Kaza.  Arrive in Kaza, the largest town in Spiti Valley, and check into your accommodation.  After settling in, proceed with sightseeing in Kaza: Visit the ancient Key Monastery, perched atop a hill overlooking the Spiti River.  Explore the monastery's prayer halls, murals, and Tibetan Buddhist artefacts.  Head to the nearby Kibber Village, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world.  Take a stroll through the village, interact with locals, and admire the traditional architecture.  Visit Langza Village to see the famous Langza Buddha Statue and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.  After a day of exploration, return to Kaza for dinner.  Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 7Kaza to chandartal

 Depart from Kaza and drive towards Chandratal Lake, a pristine high-altitude lake located amidst the majestic Himalayas.  You can trek to Chandratal Lake, take photographs, and enjoy the serene surroundings.  Set up camp near Chandratal Lake for an overnight camping experience under the starlit sky.  Dinner and overnight camping near Chandratal Lake.

Day 8Chandartal to Manali

 After breakfast drive to Manali. Manali, nestled in the picturesque valleys of Himachal Pradesh, is renowned for its natural beauty, adventure activities, and cultural attractions  After reaching manali visit local sightseeing like Famous Hadimba Devi Temple, Mall road, Vashisht Hot Water Springs etc.  After a day of exploration, check into the hotel and dinner. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 9Manali's Local sightseeings

 Today morning after breakfast you can go for the sightseeings of Manali  Hadimba devi temple  Vashishath Temple  Tinetian Monestary  Club House etc
